Responsible for providing the strategic planning, coordination, knowledge and expertise in a specific subject matter for a project or standalone consultative services.

This role supports the Operational Execution Teams and Business Development with regard to designing and managing effective and efficient clinical trials/programs bringing specific regulatory, medical/scientific and operational knowledge in the area dermatology.

Manages the dermatology clinic(s) including all staff, resources, finances and quality.(Country Specific)

The position requires specific experience in supporting the operational development and execution of strategic plans and projects for dermatology therapeutics.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Serves as the principal strategist who advises, consults, plans and directs the design and strategy of new business opportunities (RFPs) and/or provide consultative services to customers developing therapeutics to treat dermatology diseases.

Serves as the principal strategist who advises, consults, plans and directs the design and strategy of new business opportunities (RFPs) and/or provide consultative services to customers developing therapeutics to treat dermatology diseases.

Leads and/or partners with Business Development and Operations for planning of bid defense meetings or capabilities meetings

Supports medical writing team in the development of protocol design as well as CSR review and input as needed

Manages all aspects of trials performed at the dermatology clinic(s) including ensuring coverage, providing contracted services, recruitment of patients, patients visits, protecting patient safety,keeping records managing financial aspects of projects, following clinics(s) and TFS SOPs, and maintaining quality.

Managing all aspects of the dermatology clinic(s) including managing all responsibilities held by the clinic(s) teams, including recruiting and retaining staff, developing staff, training staff, assigning staff to projects, providing needed clinical trial material, and all financial aspects of running the dermatology clinic(s). (Country Specific)

Develops and fosters relationship with existing and potential clients both in conjunction with Business Development and individually

Develops and fosters the TFS site relationships and networks aligned with therapeutic area as appropriate

Assists with feasibility assessments and provides input for feasibility assessments including questionnaires and may also directly connect with potential sites for assessment of participation, protocol considerations and enrolment projections

Maintains strong knowledge of major events and challenges in dermatology disease therapeutic development and provides instruction to team members and managers on those issues as well as training for the respective area of focus.

Assumes overall responsibility for scientific and strategic aspects of all assigned TFS Research managed clinical trials

Interacts with Business Development for all proposal development support related to therapeutics for dermatology including supporting Executive Directors for other therapeutic areas of focus as appropriate.

Ability to perform up to 50% overnight business travel (domestic and international)

Public speaking and presentation development

Extensive understanding of the regulatory environment for dermatology
